Permenter Home

The Permenter home uses the same tile throughout the whole house, over 3000 square feet, but the result is far from monotonous. No two rooms are the same, with a pattern and design created to enhance the use and style of each space. Tumbled marble mosaics are used to accent architectural features and to create a threshold transition from one room to another.

Visitors are welcomed by a basket-weave pattern just inside the front door. Remy cuts all tiles himself. He meticulously keeps an even grout line and designs perfect arcs.

In the hallway, he creates a three-dimensional pattern with the illusion of boxes that shift as you walk down the hall. The result is stunning!

The kitchen back splash is simple yet ornamental, functional and beautiful.

Every detail is attended to in the master bathroom.

The indoor-outdoor pool area features Remy's own hand-crafted look created from standard 18x18 tiles, cut in half and then half again to create an irregular stone pattern. The pillars are wrapped with tumbled marble.

And the wall chimney features one of Remy's signature medallions, a mariner's star complete with hand-cut coordinates.
